We rediscovered this tool in the Abeille de France magazine. In 1961, André REGARD, author of several technical books on beekeeping, produced an educational tool capable of measuring the amplitude of a honey flow and thus allowing beekeepers to better anticipate the break in supers as well as to better choose the locations of his apiaries.
Measurements are made using temperature and humidity, also influenced by the wind. Of course, other parameters must be taken into account, such as the nature of the soil and the variety of crops.
