Our history<\/h1><\/div>

The story of Bee2beep is first of all the idea of a student and amateur beekeeper in Deux S\u00e8vres: J\u00e9r\u00f4me Clerjeau<\/p>\n

Indeed, the idea of the connected scale was born during the year of his senior year in 2016. A beekeeper had beehives in his high school but had no means of controlling the good production or the health of the bees when the establishment was closed. After research and several studies, he developed first with friends and then with an industrialist, a simple and effective connected scale. Scales for beekeeping already existed but were sometimes too heavy and complex for amateur beekeepers or beekeeping companies seeking more mobility.<\/p>\n

Quickly, the Deux S\u00e8vres Bee Syndicate launched a test with 7 beekeepers of a connected scale for weighing hives on an LPWAN (Sigfox) communication protocol. The results turned out to be very conclusive. In 2018, the first BEE2BEEP<\/b> STEEL scale was born. Then, at the end of 2019 followed the BEE2BEEP<\/strong> Light scale with the association of an industrialist of 77 specialist in weighing.<\/p>\n

In 2021, we are making a strategic choice to get closer to a company in the world of connected objects for agriculture that has an optimal platform to host our data: AGRILAB IO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Developed by the Dijon company FOUR DATA, software designer and specialist in the manufacture and integration of connected objects (under LPWAN protocol, NB-Iot \/ LTE-M, etc.), Agrilab io<\/a> is a turnkey connected solution for agriculture in the broad sense. Sharing similar values and technologically more advanced on the modular part of the IoT, this merger allows us to advance even further on the subjects of connected weighing, on the location of hives (anti-theft GPS) the monitoring of apiaries (sensors of temperatures, connected rain gauge) and monitoring of the honey house (honey stock in IBC, inventory management by connected gauge).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
